We are incredibly excited to share that on December 2, our full team will have returned to Envision! Most of our team have been displaced and out of work for nearly two months and we are still almost 60% shy of our initial goal.

It has been just over a month since Hurricane Helene hit WNC and we want to share a few updates with you. We are extremely grateful to say that we have reopened our doors for patient care! Several of our team members are still displaced and have not been able to return to work. Some who have returned are working at reduced hours. Updates on Asheville’s status: Most of the area has running water now, but it is still unsafe for drinking. Our new normal looks quite different. We hear stories from our team about having longer commutes due to the recovery efforts and road closures, and having to boil pots of water to use with portable camp showers in order to bathe safely due to the contaminated water. There are so many stories from this experience; some are heartbreaking, some are beautiful, and all are important to be heard.
This geological event has reshaped our region and things will never be the same, but our hope is to build it back better together. ❤️ Thank you for all of your support!
